Single Phase Voltage Relay

Long Description

The 2V76 series relay is a single-phase, protection-class AC voltage relay. It can be configured for under- or over-voltage operation and includes a filter for rejection of third harmonics for neutral displacement applications. A definite time delay element, initiated by the voltage detection circuit, drives the time-delayed output contacts. Voltage and time settings are fully adjustable using DIL switches on the front panel, providing high repeatability and accuracy. A non-volatile LED indicates output relay operation and may be hand or remotely reset. A configurable status input enables operation on application or removal of a control voltage.

Application

The 2V76 series relay can be configured for a range of AC voltage protection applications, including high-speed undervoltage detection in automatic transfer equipment, induction motor protection, under-frequency load shedding, overvoltage protection of synchronous motors and hydro generators, and neutral displacement / earth fault protection. Third harmonic response is suppressed and a switchmode supply provides a wide auxiliary range with a relay-fail alarm contact.
