Scalable Lab Built for Innovation
The Bangalore Tech Lab was officially inaugurated in June 2025 following a phased development that was later consolidated into a single, integrated facility.
The lab currently spans approximately 160 sq. m. Designed to support a growing engineering team, around 10 - 20 engineers will be working in the lab throughout the year.
The setup enables efficient collaboration and provides a future-proof and scalable environment to support ongoing development and testing activities.
Powerful Test Lab with strong key capabilities
The lab is equipped with advanced systems to support a broad range of relay testing and analysis. It can perform electrical life testing on up to 1000 relays.
It is equipped to carry out most tests defined in IEC 61810‑1, EN 50155, and IEC 60255-1 standards for relay testing.
Additional capabilities include: • Environmental chambers for thermal testing • Shock and vibration test systems • Combined thermal + environmental chambers (-40°C to +120°C) • Precision component measurement • Data logging and analysis systems • Thermal analysis of relays and electronic assemblies • Power supply variation tests • No weld tests on relay contacts • AC immunity tests on relays • Tests as per ENATS 48-4
Research & Development for Reliable Components
The Bangalore Tech Lab plays a central role in accelerating product innovation and ensuring quality and reliability. It is used for new product development, validation testing, and root cause analysis of field returns or failures.
Engineers utilize the facility to execute performance verification under varying environmental and electrical conditions, as well as to support compliance testing.
The lab also enables continuous improvement initiatives by generating data-driven insights that help optimize designs and enhance product robustness before market introduction.
