The 1L710 Series relays are solid-state liquid level detecting relays with electromechanical output contacts. Designed for auxiliary mains voltages, the 1L710 applies an isolated low AC voltage to immersion probes, eliminating damaging electrolytic action, and is ideal for measuring high and/or low levels of conductive liquids. It monitors the resistance across two probes: the relay picks up when fluid falls below the LOW probe, then monitors the HIGH probe, dropping out when liquid reaches it. A typical use is starting a replenishing pump at low level and stopping it at high level. Not for flammable liquids.
