The 310 is a latching relay with two stable magnetically latched states. Energizing one coil moves the relay from position 1 to 2; energizing the other returns it from 2 to 1. It has 18 double break contacts (Form X & Y per customer specification) in all N/O and N/C combinations. The plug-in design offers a secure locking feature for easy maintenance. Resistance to impact and vibration conforms to railway equipment standards. Positive mechanical keying is built in during manufacture, with clearly marked terminals. Weld-no-transfer safety contacts are standard, and all relays are factory tested for this requirement.
