The time delay relay UTC also incorporates a voltage control function. The delay is initiated by an impulse on the relay command, which also closes the contact. It can start if input voltage d0 exceeds the control threshold; if d0 is below it, the delay resets to 0, the contact opens and the relay returns to its origin state. The contact is a solid-state switch insulated from the relay control. The plug-in design offers a secure locking feature for easy maintenance, with positive mechanical keying and clearly marked terminals conforming to railway equipment standards.
