The 4M200 Test Block system is an evolution of the widely used 14-circuit versions in the power utility sector, now with finger-safe test sockets that accept shrouded 4mm banana plugs. Several configurations suit specific protection and control applications. The Test Block has 14 pairs of spring-loaded contacts linked to a rear terminal block. Inserting the 4M220 Test Plug first connects, then open-circuits each contact pair. The plug locates securely and is retained by two knurled screws. Its 28 finger-safe sockets are split into 14 black equipment-side and 14 yellow live-side sockets, each accepting a 4mm test plug.

Anwendung

Test blocks let technicians quickly and safely isolate protection relays so test signals can be injected and system performance verified at the relay panel. Benefits: reduced equipment downtime, no disturbance to wiring, terminals or settings, and isolation of the existing auxiliary supply. The 4M200 Test Block is a general-purpose isolation and test signal injection point with 'finger safe' 4 mm sockets for operator safety. Equipment only needs removal for servicing or maintenance.
